Dan and Jeanelle's Wedding...

Dan Soetaert and Jeanelle Bambao were married on January 6, 2007 in a beautiful wedding at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle's University District. I helped with the cord. (The veil and the cord is a Philippine custom in which they drape a veil over the bride's head and the groom's shoulders, then put a cord around both bride and groom, and someone hands coins to the bride, who hands them to the groom. The veil and cord symbolize the two becoming one. The coins symbolize the bride submitting her wellbeing to the groom.)

The Reception

Lechon! (a Philippine delicacy) I tried to get a good picture of the happy couple at the table, but alas, it was not to be.
